This is a fascinating place to visit, so much work has gone into the displays. All the miniature mouse houses are amazing and so interesting looking at the work that has gone into them. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Walking into this little shop felt like stepping into a fairytale. Every tiny piece looked so real and full of life — I honestly felt like I had become one of the little mice myself! Each handmade toy was bursting with charm and personality. I could’ve stayed here all day and still not had enough.

In the end, I took home two adorable little mice, and they already feel like part of the family.

The staff were incredibly kind and sweet — they explained that the mice are all handmade, and many of the materials, like the cardboard, are recycled and sustainably used. That just made me love this place even more!

A wonderful historical shop located in the heart of Amsterdam close. The rich history of its founder makes this place a great place to visit and admire the beautiful works.

Best thing I have ever seen! So intricate and detailed! Could spend hours just looking at it all. Had lots of memorabilia to buy which is always a plus. No fee to enter and more interesting than most museums!! Recommend to anyone who is in Amsterdam as it is easy to get to also

Unexpectedly interesting. Local business. Small shop with all hand made mouse world in the center of Amsterdam. Great to visit if you have kids, they have a small game for them. No tickets needed.

Adorable little shop in Amsterdam. We visited it before we saw the kattenkabinet which we thought was pretty funny. The shop has two floors both filled with these houses and scenes depicting mice doing various things. It's free to visit since it's not a museum but a shop and you can buy miniature furniture, objects, felt mice and kits to make your own little mouse house. We didn't buy anything but we had fun looking around. I especially recommend it if you have kids as a kit could be a great gift for a little one.

No tickets needed! Super cute shop with mini items and tools to build your own mouse room and house. It’s super impressive to see the mansion built inside the shop! I love the style and the effort put into creating this mouse world. I might try to create my own at home now!

A must see if you have enjoyed reading the Mouse House books. There are all the rooms from the books and you can see how they were made.

Full of intricate model sets for the book series, this place is a must for every fan of hand made puppets, miniature worlds, set building etc. Loved it!

It’s such a lovely shop and a must-see place. I think children will especially love it. I came across it by chance while passing by, and I’m so glad I explored and experienced it. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit.

Everything was so cute!! A lot of details and effort being put into making all the models. Super impressed!!

This place is just a delight especially if you have small children or just like something whimsical. The models with little mouse characters are works of art and a credit to their makers. There are some models to purchase which seem well made. Worth a visit to put a smile on your face, unless you are mouse phobic of course.

What a wonderful and enchanting place!! My daughter and I spent a very long time looking at all the wonderful little houses and now have plans to make our own. Well worth a visit!!

The first thing that came to mind was the film Dinner for Schmucks and I am sure I am not the first to mention this.
While tourists are gathering in droves to get their hands on a stroopwaffle, queueing up for their sugar rush and an overpriced Dutch treat, they could be visiting this shop and be amazed. This shop sparks joy.
Just look at those cute little mice in the shop's window and tell me you are not overcome with joy. Sit down on the bench outside and read through their book. Your heart will love you for it.

The shop is very nice, looks exactly like a museum, with a lot of examples on how you can build a house for the mice. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful so definitely we will return.
